'I want to be president'

World Food Programme

Andrew Chale --

Hendly likes to listen to Michael Jackson.

Shiva is scared of snakes, but not scorpions.

Guilaye wants to be president.

These kids -- from Haiti, India, and Senegal -- have something in common: They're beating the odds thanks to WFP school meals. Individuals like you are giving them the future they deserve.

Meet the kids, feed their dreams, and share your own dream!

                                Meet Hendly!

It's World Food Week and we want to take this opportunity to connect you to the people you're helping.

As a supporter of the World Food Programme, do you wonder: How am I making a difference?

Sharing these children's hopes and fears (and even some of their singing!) is our way of saying thank you.

After you watch the videos, please consider the difference you can make by donating $5 per month. That's enough to ensure a child never goes hungry. That's enough to feed the dream of a young girl like Hendly who will enrol in school, rather than working the fields, thanks to the promise of a daily school meal. And that's the power of $5 per month.

I hope you enjoy meeting the kids as much as I did,

Marcela
