Tickets are on sale now for the Met's exciting 2011–12 lineup of 26 operas, including seven new productions, 19 repertory classics, and the first complete new Ring cycle in more than 20 years. Don't miss a moment!
Anna Netrebko (pictured) opens the season on Monday, September 26th, in the Met premiere of Anna Bolena. Other new productions this season include Don Giovanni, Faust, Manon, and the world premiere of The Enchanted Island—a Baroque pastiche based on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Tempest, featuring music by Handel, Rameau, and Vivaldi.
Returning repertory favorites include Aida, The Barber of Seville, La Bohème, Madama Butterfly, Satyagraha, Tosca, La Traviata, the holiday presentation of Hansel and Gretel, and more.
